Social-responsibility

Areas of Focus

For us the first step towards corporate social responsibility is creating a balance with our ecology and treating each other with dignity. Here are the focal points in our CSR initiatives –

Customers

Improved production techniques and constant research that affirms better user experience are integral to our best practices.

A very well informed customer is a definite asset to us. We have always strived to keep customers acquainted with latest trends, designs and fabrics. A wide spectrum of offerings to choose from with a friendly retailer on their side leaves a long lasting smile on the customer’s face.
As to what FFG does to win more smiles every day.

  • Garments are made out of the finest fabric and consume colorfast and eco-fast dyes.
  • Keeping the toxic content of end product to minimal possible extent.
  • The product you hold in the hand is harmonized with nature.
  • A Kair garment does no harm to adjacent fabric with color stain noise.
  • You are never deprived of color variety for the mordant that we employ for dyeing.
  • Every garment that leaves the manufacturing unit is rigorously tested for quality compliance.
  • Our exchange and return policy is a sure-shot winner too and is a waste-minimization effort from our end.

Environment

Sustainability is not optional but a business imperative. FFG has always adhered to the sustainable approach to business and has conducted business in a sustainable manner. We look at sustainable practices as an opportunity to apply our core strengths for social good, and innovate to create winning solutions.

We, at Fine Fair Garments, strive to engineer or redesign those processes and activities that are majorly eco-friendly and see to it that no hazardous elements are used during production. Reducing carbon footprints is a major challenge that the entire apparel manufacturing industry has been facing. This gets us to develop or using such technologies in garment manufacturing that is conducive to the environment as well as the climate. Our direct interventions that reduce environmental pollution include the use of renewable raw-materials, energy-efficient technology and having a smart waste-disposal system that works on extracting maximum re-usable materials and disposing off only a chunk that is entirely non re-workable.

Even the simplest of things such as paper bags for shopping, wooden hangers that are completely biodegradable as well as water-based inks, are given tremendous importance by people working at or with Fine Fair Garments. Packaging options are also depictive of the corporate social responsibility measures that the company is willing to ingrain in the most miniscule of its business aspects. Mr. Ismayael Rawther and Fine Fair Garments have also undertaken significant measures to improve the life of struggling pineapple and dairy farmers as well as making agricultural investments in the areas and communities where they operate.

The most ancient and longest serving endorser of diversity; and equality of people irrelevant of castes, creeds, religions, nations and complexions is Nature. It treats everyone equally.

Let’s love it. Unconditionally!

Suppliers

Suppliers are treated constituently at FFG. This is in line with our aim to manufacture products in a safe, hygienic and clean environment while meetings all the legal regulations.

Our spend trend and the quality consciousness from the beginning of the cycle becomes evident to the end user. And hence we work in close association with suppliers and to guide them throughout the planning processes. They are required to work upon the best alternatives that can be deployed in the supply chain, for minimizing costs and maximizing quality, as well as value.

We are committed to create equality of opportunity towards our suppliers. It is also taken care that not only existing, but potential suppliers, too, are served speedily and as promptly as possible with answers to their queries or feedback, if any.

While awarding a contract to any of the new or existing suppliers, we ensure that each and every point that is mentioned in our supplier code of ethics is made understood as well as agreed to, by both parties. All our suppliers undergo an intermittent procurement standard testing, which ensures the enforcement of agreed terms and conditions.

FFG has taken up a number of initiatives to work towards mutual benefits of the company and suppliers. We promote and spread awareness about principle or key standards that our suppliers need to comply with and keep ourselves up-to-date with the rights of suppliers in order to serve them with complete responsibility and trust.

Employees

FFG securely rests on the abilities of highly motivated human capital. The organization has consistently initiated interventions that strengthened the employee-employer relations.

Dignity is one of the grand essentialities of an employee and fair treatment of employees is inherent to FFG’s practices. From the designers to pattern makers to sales personnel to seamstresses and shipping clerks, all are treated with dignity at our group. They are extended the same care and love as the commitment and heed they show towards Fine Fair garments.

We believe that regular breaks and optimum holidays are essential, not only for the mental and physical revitalization of employees, but also to keep any creative block at bay. Furthermore, our employees enjoy an open and free environment for communication with the leaders of the organization. In an environment where democracy reflects in its true essence, employees can project their ideas without any fear of feeling snubbed or overlooked.

Community

We know that we cannot prepare any business — our clients’ or our own — for the future of work without also considering the future of our society and our planet. It is our responsibility to apply our collective knowledge, talent and energies to the challenges we all face in our workplace, our communities and our environment.
